Thanksgiving Food Drive
By Vanessa Dawson
We are incredibly grateful to once again partner with The Gathering Church and the Community Table Food Bank in Riverside South for Sequoia’s Thanksgiving Food Drive this year.
Over the summer, the food bank shelves saw a significant dip in stock. With the fall season upon us and needs rising, your generous donations will make a real difference. In fact, the number of families being served has doubled since last Thanksgiving. That’s a big shift—and a powerful reminder of how vital this support is.
The Community Table has been deeply thankful to see how God continues to bring compassionate and generous people—like you—into their path to help meet these growing needs. Your contributions are more than just food; they are acts of love and hope that go straight into our community. "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God." — Hebrews 13:16 (ESV)
How You Can Help:
Please take a paper grocery bag, fill it with non-perishable food items, and return it by Sunday, October 12, 2025. Every can, box, or bag helps us care for families in need in the months to come.
To make a financial contribution you can donate here or scan the QR code below.
From all of us involved in this initiative, thank you for standing with us. Together, we are feeding families, offering hope, and showing what it means to care for one another.
Happy Thanksgiving! Blessings, Vanessa
