Discipleship is a journey of intentional decisions leading to maturity in your relationship with Jesus so that you become more like Him in your attitudes, focus and behavior. It requires a commitment from the potential disciple and the disciple-makers. It’s not something that happens by accident or overnight, and it can’t be completed in a six-week class. This is a lifelong commitment to follow God with your whole self and to both learn from and eventually teach others about how to follow Him. Here are some resources to help you in your journey of becoming a disciple of Jesus.
90 Day Gospel Reading Challenge
We invite you to encounter Jesus as we work through the 4 Gospel accounts over the next 90 days, starting April 8th.
Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, so we want to be intentional to pursue our relationship with God by going to the Bible each day.
We will read the chapter for that day and ask three simple yet profound questions:
1) What? What does this reveal about God and Jesus?
2) So What? What difference does this make in my life.
3) What Now? What is God asking me to do in response to what I’m learning?
This is something everyone can do whether we are skeptics, seekers, or believers, and regardless of the station and stage of life we are in. This is also fun for the whole family as the youth and children can engage with parents and siblings over meal times. So will you take on the 90 Day Gospel Reading Challenge?
