Heather grew up in western Canada. As a pastor's kid, she developed a passion for connecting with people and helping those in her community feel welcomed, loved, and connected. Heather's passion for others to know the heart of Jesus, deepened through her years at Canadian Bible College in Regina, and with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in South Africa. Over the last decade, in Saskatchewan, B.C., and here at Sequoia, Heather has fallen in love with serving the littlest disciples. She is passionate about the next generation feeling at home and loved in their church family, where they can grow in a lasting relationship with our loving Father.

One of her favourite verses is "Let love be your highest goal!" 1 Corinthians 14:1. Heather does her best to live this out at home with her husband Graham and their three boys, as well as in the church and in the community.
