Vanessa grew up in a small town outside Vancouver, BC. She loves people and enjoys helping others understand the reality of God’s love and grace. As the Next Generation Team Leader (ages 0-18), Vanessa is passionate about working alongside families to raise up the next generation to be Kingdom leaders and multiplying disciples of Christ. There are many children and youth at Sequoia and Vanessa joyfully serves the younger generation with the vision to help them Connect to God, Grow with Others, Serve the World and Multiply for Impact.

One of her all time favourite Bible verses is Romans 8:39, “Nothing at all can ever separate us from God’s love because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has done.” In her spare time, Vanessa loves to spend time with family and friends, watch her kids play hockey, drink tea, run and enjoy being outside in nature.
